[ERROR] I535 4.4.2 system software not authorized by verizon wireless
Hello major Android world. I come to ask for help about a problem that occurred at my Android phone Galaxy S3 I535 4.4.2 (I535VZWDNE1) . Last time I wanted to go through rom manager pro to install CWM above. Obviously the TOUCH release was offered to me. And once accepted, there was an error when downloading this one. I repeat this action several times but the error still occurs. I finally installing the CWM (no touch). Once the phone start in recorvery I get a message like :

Help with rooting!
I have quite the issue with the phone, i can't flash anything with Odin.
Here's what I did that got me into this mess and hopefully you guys can dig me out of this hole.
The phone was running 4.3, I rooted it using Kingo, then flashed CWM Recovery. When I attempted to reboot it it gave me a screen saying "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone..." So, I went into the recovery, opened Odin and tried to flash stock.vzw_root66.tar and got this:
So is my phone toast or can I fix this, im still a rooting noob, this is only my third phone ive messed with. :eek:
Edit: if i reboot the phone after being in the recovery i get "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please use Software Repair Assistant & try again"

sch-i535 4.4.2 cant flash custom recovery (both TWRP/CWM) why?
Hi Experts,
I have some experience on flashing phones and custom roms but in this case i'm lost.
Can't find a way to install CWM or TWRP, i have tried flashing with Odin and also tried to install via the CWM/TWRP app.
After flashing recovery with CWM/TWRP app the phone becomes bricked and i get a Verizon message "secure fail: kernel system software is not authorized by verizon..."
If i try to flash recovery with Odin in download mode it will result in an error: FAIL! (Auth)
And from the stock recovery i cant flash as well which make sense.
* Phone is 4.2.2
* Root was made with towelroot.apk > manual install of SU and confirmed with root checker (Other root methods did not worked for me).
Please help!

Looking to update my S3 and give it to my mom to use on Total Wireless.
What's the most stable ROM that will require the least amount of tech support from me? :)

I535OYUDNE1 run CM12.1 is not stable

Originally CM12.1 on the DNE1 will be infinite restart, but I flash a kernel, he can enter the system interface, but it is not stable!
I can't stand the instability of CM12.1, I am now in normal use of CM11, but very much like to use CM12.1.

Every Custom ROM crashes at system setup wizard in Verizon Galaxy S3
I have a Verizon Galaxy SCH-I535, it had Android 4.3, but I downgraded it to 4.1.2 creating a custom-stock ROM.
Now I rooted it, unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP 3.0.0 and tested other recoveries as well, and also flashed several ROMs, all of them correctly but when the ROMs starts, just about to show the FIRST SCREEN of the Setup Wizard, the image crashes and shows blinking colored dots.
At the end the only ROM I can have booted is the 4.1.2 that I saved.
Can anyone tell me how can I do to have a different ROM installed, and thta is correctly booted,thanks.

Plz help! Wiped system! Unable to flash stock rom with odin!
I completely wiped my system partition with safestrap and now not only phone doesn't boot. Safestrap doesn't eithr. I tries to install stock rom using odin several times and it failed.
Now when i boot the phone, a messeage shows up saying, "Firmware Upgrade Encountered Issue. Please Use Softwar Repair Assistant And Try Again".
Help me fix this, please!!!??

Looking to Update Software to Most Recent Version
I have a rooted Verizon device that is running stock 4.1.2, since I have the unlimited data and use the free hotspot toggle.
Well, almost none of the current apps works with my phone anymore, its getting very frustrating. I'd like to unroot my phone and just get to the most recent software, then buy Foxfi for the hotspot...will that work?
Is there a better option? Can I upgrade the software without unrooting ?
Any help would be apprecaited, thanks!

Cleanrom Link?
I'm looking to flash the latest cleanrom on my Verizon S3 and discovered that Scott has retired from ROM building. I found the link to his latest work on AFH but this does not include the S3. So does anyone have a link to the latest cleanrom for the Verizon S3? Thanks.

Cannot connect to specific website on hotspot, but can on regular phone data
Here's what's happening, only since I've been trying to flash a custom ROM....never had this problem with this site before.
When connected to hostpot:
I go to a certain website, and it just saying "waiting for www....." it doesn't matter what browser I use.
When connected to other wifi hotposts like optimumwifi:
I go to the same website and it loads without any issues.
When I use my phones browser:
I go to the same website and it loads without any issues.
Someone please help, this is super annoying. Also, I should note that 99.999% of website are loading without issue.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon Bootloader Unlock for 4.4.2?
Hello, I apologize if I post this in the wrong thread for I am new to the community but I was wondering if there has been a bootloader unlock method for the Verizon S3 running 4.4.2. I've been searching for a couple hours and can only find unlock methods for either 4.1.2 or threads from 2014 saying you can't do it. I was wondering if there has been a method found yet. Thank you :)
