Nothing excessively interesting here but just thought I would share...
So lately I have been bored and started looking into cpu and ram usage. One of the first things I noticed was mpdecision causing some cpu drain. Most of us know of this one and just deleted the system bin file. Other than that all was well until I plugged in my standard charger and noticed my cpu use doubled! 15% to 30%! SystemUI was causing the increase in usage every time I plugged in. Then it hit me. That circle battery icon is now spinning to show I was charging. I guess I never thought much of it before, but using an icon with a charging animation really does use a considerable amount of resources. Definitely more than I thought. So next time you choose a batt icon you may want to rethink about that animation and just use a standard one with a static lightning bolt.
Is this an extreme amount of drain? No, but every little bit helps when you only have a limited amount of time to charge.[emoji4]
